How long will it take to receive my order?
Most of our jewelry is built to order so we generally ship within 2-3 weeks of an order being placed. We are constantly working on ways to decrease the wait time. When your order ships we ill send you a confirmation email with tracking. During the holiday season this lead time can increase but we'll let you know if this is an issue on your order.
Do your rings have a warranty?
Absolutely. We are in this for the long run. Our warranty covers your purchase for the first year of ownership. We will repair or replace your ring if it degrades in any way due to manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal wear and tear such as wear and tear or rings that are damaged through carelessness of the wearer. Carelessness may include such activities as rock climbing, wrenching on your car, heavy landscaping, deliberately trying to break a ring etc. You don't need to baby our jewelry but there are times where it's not a good idea to wear jewelry. The customer will pay shipping costs to return it and we will cover Priority Mail shiping back to the customer. Every ring material will scratch. Typically we error on the side of the customer and in some cases we have replaced rings years after purchase but this relatively rare. We will treat you well.
If I don't like the ring when it arrives can I get a refund?
You have seven days from the time you receive your order to request a refund. After this time no refunds will be given. The refund amount is the total amount of the order excluding shipping cost. Refunds will only be given if the ring is sent back in "as shipped" condition meaning there are no scratches or blemishes on the ring. No refunds or exchanges will be given for custom made jewelry.
I need my ring overnight, can you help?
Sometimes. It really depends what we have in stock at the moment. We typically stock over one hundred rings but we offer 19 sizes in hundreds of variations so it's difficult to stock everything. Please contact us asap to see what sort of options we can offer before you order.
How do I care for my ring?
Take it off while participating in activities such as rock climbing, heavy landscaping, automotive repair, or any other activity that may be abrasive. Clean it with mild soap and water and add a layer of chapstick followed by a wipe down with paper towel for polished rings to keep it looking fresh. For endurance or matte finish rings a simple degrease with soap and water is fine. Normal cosmetics won't hurt the ring and there are no issues taking the ring in a pool. Keep the ring away from fuels or anything that isn't safe for bare hands. We offer free re-polishing for life as long as you cover shipping both ways. Let us know before you send it in for a re-polish.
What if my ring doesn't fit?
Your first size exchange will only cost you shipping to get the ring back to us. We will pay return shipping. If you need a second exchange we ask you to pay for shipping both ways. Please email us prior to sending your ring back for exchange. The best way to avoid this is to get sized before you order. We offer standard North American ring sizing in sizes 4.5-13.5 in whole and half sizes for most of our rings. Quarter sizes are not available at this time. We no longer offer an online sizing chart with cut out strips. Over the years we have determined this to be an unreliable method of finding out what size you wear. The best method for finding your ring size is to walk into your local jewelry store and ask them to help you find your size. Every jewelry store will have a sizing kit and they would be happy to spend five minutes to help you find your size without buying anything. After all you may at some point need to buy a diamond or watch and a smart jeweler will jump at the chance to build a relationship with a prospective customer. The only time we will charge you for a custom size is in the event you need a size above 13.5 and below 4.5. In either of those cases please email us for cost information. If you use international sizing please email us your size and we can give you the closest equivalent North American size so that you get the size you need.
If I am in an accident can carbon fiber be removed?
Yes. Carbon fiber rings can be easily removed with an abrasive wheel found in most emergency room kits. Carbon fiber rings can be removed more quickly than metal rings.
My ring doesn't look exactly like the picture, what's the deal?
We make every effort to represent our rings in an exciting and honest manner. In most cases we use the best lighting possible and only use minimal editing tools to alter the brightness and shadow levels so you can get an accurate picture of what you are buying. Carbon fiber is reflective so if you look at it under an incandescent bulb it will have a slight yellow tint to it. Under white lights or a light box the pattern can appear washed out. On a sunny day you'll see the most detail. Carbon fiber is a little tricky to photograph and not lose the qualities the ring shows in person. Our uni rings in particular can go from a shimmering silver flash in sunlight to an almost charcoal look in low light. This is to be expected. We want you to be happy with your purchase which is why offer a 7 day refund if you aren't satisfied.
I'm an electrician, will your rings conduct electricity?
Yes the fiber is conductive. I have conducted my own simple experiments on this matter. I was able to pass contact the edge of a 3" carbon disk and pass a current to the other side and turn on a small flashlight bulb. I do not have data to prove there is no risk to you on the job. However, I believe the epoxy resin in our rings reduces the conductivity as compared to metal rings. You are the electrician so we will defer to your expertise on what is safe to wear on the job. We make no claims about the safety or risk of wearing carbon fiber rings in your profession.
